Introduction

Whats is an investing assistant that lives inside WhatsApp. You message a number, it creates a wallet for you on Robinhood Chain, and from then on you buy and sell tokenized stocks, trade tokens, send assets to friends and even launch your own token — all by chatting.

What you can do

  • Stocks — buy and sell 190+ Robinhood Stock Tokens (AAPL, NVDA, TSLA, SPY…) priced live, paid in ETH or USDG.
  • Tokens — trade any ERC-20 on Robinhood Chain by name or contract address.
  • Send — give stocks, ETH or USDG to any WhatsApp number. The recipient needs nothing installed.
  • Launch — create a token on the pons launchpad in eight questions, earn creator fees on every trade.
  • Positions — live value, average cost and profit/loss of everything you hold.

How it is built

Every user gets a real self-custodiable wallet on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663, an Arbitrum-based L2 with ETH gas). Whats holds the key encrypted so it can sign for you when you confirm a trade, and you can export it to MetaMask at any time. There is no app to install, no seed phrase to write down, and every trade asks you to confirm before it is sent.

Keep in mindTrades, sends and launches are real on-chain transactions and cannot be reversed. Only the first line of every secret message is visible in delivery logs, and your private key is never shown unless you ask for it.
