What it will look like
- One line to open —
long btc 5x $100orshort eth 3x $50; or tap 📈 Perps and pick market, side, leverage and margin from buttons. - Honest quote — entry price, position size, liquidation price and funding rate before you confirm; the quote expires after 90 seconds like every other trade.
- Take-profit / stop-loss — set in dollars or percent on the same confirmation screen or any time later.
- Positions tab — open perps appear alongside your stocks with unrealised P&L, margin ratio and distance to liquidation.
- Alerts — a message when a position nears liquidation, hits TP/SL or when funding flips sharply.
Under the hood
Positions settle on an on-chain perpetuals venue reachable from Robinhood Chain, with USDG as margin. Your Whats wallet signs every open, close and margin change — the same custody model as today, so you can export the key and manage the position from any wallet.
Limits at launch
- Markets: BTC, ETH, SOL and a handful of majors to begin with.
- Leverage capped at 10× initially; isolated margin only.
- Perps are not available where derivatives are restricted for retail users.
